Fr Remigiusz Paweł Kalski SJ was born on 7 January 1967 in Poland. He was ordained a priest in 1999. Member of Society of Jesus. Currently he is a prior of Jesuits in Kyrgyzstan.

He is working in Kyrgyzstan since 2010. From 2010 to 2015 he served as a prior of Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Parish in Jalal-Abad city, located in the southern part of Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, he was a director of “Meerim Nuru” public cultural charity fund. He moved to Bishkek (capital city) in 2015.

He was a responsible person for creation of Caritas Kyrgyzstan since 2015. Actively participated in different activities organised by Caritas Internationalis and Caritas Asia. He was appointed as an executive director by Apostolic Administrator after official registration of Caritas Kyrgyzstan in 2019.

He is interested in the philosophy of nature and tries to explore this field in his free time. Author of several articles on this subject. He likes reading books. Favourite authors are G.K. Chesterton, C.S. Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien.
